Saturday, July 11: Pork & Beef Sandwich Sale – Fund Raiser

The Poolesville 4th of July Fireworks event was a great success!

Here are some interesting details:
1. A new record for the number of cars parked at 1,500 cars! The old record was 950 cars in 2014
2. The attendance was 4,500 people. The average attendance is 1,500-2,000 people
3. Several of the Food Trucks sold-out
4. The Corned Beef King had to leave to get more supplies
5. The fireworks display was designed specifically for Poolesville
6. The fireworks display had several new elements and an all new Finale, WOW!
7. The fireworks display included 4,927 individual shots
8. MCPD reported no incidents - Thank You

Location:
* The farm field at the corner of Hughes Rd and Sugarland Rd.
* Not the Polo Field
* Please come early to enjoy the food and the best parking
* The $5 parking fee is essential to cover the costs of the event
* Alcohol is prohibited
* No pets
